Evergreen Terrace
Evergreen Terrace brought their Summer 2026 Tour to SO36 in Berlin on July 31. Beneath the low club ceiling, surrounded by a packed and sweaty crowd, the band delivered the kind of set built on speed, impact and voices coming together from the front row to the back of the room.
Melodic hardcore passages collided with heavy metalcore riffs, leaving barely any space to catch a breath. SO36 was the right setting for it all: loud, raw and close enough to feel every move on stage.

About the band Evergreen Terrace
Formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1999, Evergreen Terrace became one of the defining bands in the space between melodic hardcore, metalcore and punk rock. Their sound thrives on contrast: aggressive guitars, rapid drums, crushing breakdowns and hooks that stay in your head long after the set is over. That balance has made them a lasting favorite across several generations of hardcore and metalcore fans.
Records including Burned Alive by Time, Sincerity Is an Easy Disguise in This Business, Wolfbiker, Almost Home and Dead Horses show how effectively the band combines weight and melody. Their history also includes memorable cover songs and reinterpretations, revealing both a punk rock sense of humor and a deep appreciation for influences beyond their own scene.
From a concert photographer's perspective, Evergreen Terrace are at their best in tight, high-pressure rooms. Their songs demand movement, sweaty singalongs and that split second of anticipation before the next breakdown. On stage, they feel focused and immediate rather than polished or distant, constantly feeding off the energy coming back from the crowd.
