17. June 2026, Huxleys Neue Welt, Berlin

Alexisonfire

Alexisonfire brought their unmistakable force to Huxleys Neue Welt in Berlin on June 17, 2026. Between eruptive guitars, driving drums and three distinct vocal voices, the show felt immediate, physical and relentlessly intense.

The Canadian Post Hardcore institution turned the room into a sea of movement, sweat and singalongs. This gallery captures the contrasts of the night: dark silhouettes, sharp stage light, focused expressions and the energy of a band still performing every song with total conviction.

About the band Alexisonfire

Formed in St. Catharines, Ontario in 2001, Alexisonfire are one of the defining bands at the intersection of Post Hardcore, Screamo, Alternative Rock and Punk. Their sound is built around a rare vocal dynamic: George Pettit's piercing screams, Dallas Green's clean melodic voice and Wade MacNeil's gritty, powerful delivery. That tension and balance make the band instantly recognisable.

Albums including Watch Out!, Crisis, Old Crows / Young Cardinals and Otherness have shaped a catalogue that combines explosive heaviness with huge, emotional hooks. Tracks such as This Could Be Anywhere in the World, Boiled Frogs, Young Cardinals and Sans Soleil remain essential listening for fans of intense, melodic heavy music.

From a concert photographer's perspective, Alexisonfire are compelling because their shows never feel merely precise. Even on larger stages, they perform with the urgency of a packed club show. The interaction between the musicians, the lighting and the crowd creates constant moments of chaos, connection and genuine commitment.
