Bring Me The Horizon

On November 15, 2009, Bring Me The Horizon brought their intensity to Berlin’s Columbiaclub. The band were deep in the fierce Suicide Season era, delivering their early deathcore sound with full force in a packed and intimate club setting.

With strobe lights, constant movement in the crowd and almost no distance between audience and stage, the night captured the raw character of that period. This was not a polished arena production, but an intense club show where every gesture and every breakdown hit the room directly.

About the band Bring Me The Horizon

Bring Me The Horizon formed in Sheffield, England, in 2004 and grew from an underground deathcore band into one of the most influential rock acts of their generation. Frontman Oli Sykes and the band have continually pushed their sound forward, moving from crushing riffs and harsh vocals through metalcore and alternative rock to electronic, pop and industrial elements.

From a concert photographer’s perspective, the band is especially compelling because their shows balance controlled chaos with ambitious visual production. Their early years were defined by raw aggression, frantic movement and sweat-soaked clubs. Later performances retained that energy while adding huge visuals, detailed lighting and a connection with the audience that reaches far beyond a traditional metalcore show.
