Forever the Sickest Kids
On February 5, 2009, Forever the Sickest Kids brought their mix of pop-punk, synths and full-throttle energy to LOGO Hamburg. In the close quarters of the club, huge hooks met a sweaty, packed room, with the crowd throwing every chorus straight back at the stage.
The band were touring in the wake of their debut Underdog Alma Mater, and the night carried all the youthful excitement of that era. Danceable breaks, sing-along melodies and the kind of slightly chaotic live momentum that makes pop-punk hit hardest in a small club.

About the band Forever the Sickest Kids
Forever the Sickest Kids emerged from the Dallas, Texas area in the mid-2000s and became a standout name in the American pop-punk scene. Their sound combined the guitars and oversized choruses of the Warped Tour generation with synthesizers, electronic textures and a bright, often playful attitude. That blend gave the band a character that was instantly recognizable.
Their 2008 debut Underdog Alma Mater became their breakout record. Tracks including Whoa Oh! (Me vs. Everyone), She's a Lady and Hey Brittany turned into fan favorites, capturing a moment when pop-punk was leaning hard into hooks, keyboards and communal sing-alongs. Later releases such as The Weekend: Friday and their self-titled album showed a broader side of the band while keeping their instinct for immediate melodies intact.
From a concert photographer's perspective, Forever the Sickest Kids were at their best when the line between stage and audience disappeared: multiple voices, constant movement, colorful sounds and choruses capable of turning an entire room into a choir within seconds.
