Panic! At The Disco
On 5 December 2010, Panic! At The Disco brought their big, dramatic rock show to Berlin’s Velodrom as part of the Telekom Street Gigs. Between rousing choruses, theatrical tension and Brendon Urie’s unmistakable voice, the evening combined the energy of an arena with the intensity of a club show.
For the camera, it was above all the rapid movements, expressive lighting and direct connection between the band and the audience that made this Berlin gig so special. Panic! At The Disco were in an exciting period of transition, yet still delivered a show with a clear identity and a grand stage presence.

About the band Panic! At The Disco
Panic! At The Disco were formed in Las Vegas in 2004 and quickly evolved from a scene discovery into one of the most distinctive rock bands of their generation. Their 2005 debut album A Fever You Can't Sweat Out combined emo, pop punk, electronic elements and baroque drama. Songs such as I Write Sins Not Tragedies made the band internationally known and defined an entire era of alternative rock music.
Over the years, their sound changed repeatedly. With Pretty. Odd., the band revealed a more playful side, more strongly influenced by classic pop and psychedelic rock. Vices & Virtues, released in 2011, then returned to a darker, more precise and synth-driven rock sound. This versatility was exactly what made Panic! At The Disco so interesting live: huge hooks met theatrical gestures, detailed arrangements and a voice capable of carrying every line even in the biggest venues.
