The All-American Rejects

On October 25, 2009, The All-American Rejects brought their infectious alternative rock to Astra Kulturhaus in Berlin. Big choruses, pop-punk momentum and emotional turns met the close-up intensity of a proper club show.

The band arrived in Berlin during an era when tracks such as Gives You Hell and Move Along had already become staples of international rock radio. With the crowd pressed close to the stage and the songs hitting with full live force, the night showed exactly why their catalogue works far beyond the studio.

About the band The All-American Rejects

The All-American Rejects formed in Stillwater, Oklahoma, in the late 1990s, led by vocalist and bassist Tyson Ritter and guitarist Nick Wheeler. Their sound blends alternative rock, pop-punk, emo and power pop, balancing polished hooks with guitar-driven urgency. That combination made them one of the defining American rock bands of the 2000s.

Their self-titled debut established the band, while Move Along pushed them onto major international stages. Songs including Swing, Swing, Dirty Little Secret, Move Along, It Ends Tonight and Gives You Hell move between youthful chaos, heartbreak and defiance. From a concert photographer's perspective, they are especially compelling because Tyson Ritter brings restless physical energy to the front of the stage while the band delivers tightly built songs with genuine rock club impact.
