A Day To Remember
On November 15, 2009, A Day To Remember brought their explosive blend of pop punk, hardcore and metalcore to Berlin's Columbiaclub. In the intimate club setting, huge singalongs collided with heavy breakdowns, fast-moving circle pits and an energy that reached every corner of the room.
The band were in the middle of an important period of their career, touring in support of the recently released Homesick. With a sweaty crowd, dense lighting and constant movement, the night captured exactly why A Day To Remember can feel just as powerful in a packed club as they do on a major festival stage.

About the band A Day To Remember
A Day To Remember formed in Ocala, Florida, and have been one of the defining bands at the intersection of pop punk, post hardcore and metalcore since the early 2000s. Their signature lies in the contrast between instantly memorable choruses and crushing guitar work: vocalist Jeremy McKinnon moves naturally between clean melodies and raw shouts while the band builds songs around giant hooks and massive breakdowns.
Albums including Homesick, What Separates Me from You, Common Courtesy and Bad Vibrations took A Day To Remember from underground favorites to an internationally successful live act. Songs such as The Downfall of Us All, If It Means a Lot to You, All I Want and Have Faith in Me have become essential soundtrack material for an entire generation of fans.
From a concert photographer's perspective, the band are especially compelling because their shows constantly shift between emotional singalong passages and full physical release. One moment a chorus is carried by hundreds of voices, and seconds later a breakdown sends the entire room into motion.
